The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner – we love Christmas but even more we love sustainable choices for celebration and festive feeling creating. Have you ever wondered if the decoration products you buy might contain hazardous chemicals?
This Christmas campaign wants to save you from potential hazardous presences in such product groups as Christmas decorations, toys, kitchen equipment, and the most wanted electronic devices. And how about the Christmas tree itself?
We are willing to slightly change the classic Advent calendar approach and until Christmas talk about the potential hazardous substances in these articles, how to avoid them and what are best alternatives. A social media campaign will run till December 23 and during these weeks we will provide information about more sustainable and less hazardous Christmas on our Facebook and Instaram page.

Weekly activities all over Europe include the use of Scan4chem app for raising awareness among producers and brands by asking them about harmful substances in plastic goods at concentrations above 0.1 %. We encourage communication between consumers, retailers and producers. Every scan counts – raising awareness on all sides to make our life more sustainable.
